Who travels to us
People with complex chronic illness, including Lyme and tick-borne illness, mold and CIRS, long COVID, thyroid, hormone, and autoimmune conditions, and people who feel well and want to optimize their health. Many have been told their symptoms are not real or not treatable. If that is you, you are exactly the patient we built this clinic for. Patients come from across the United States and have come internationally, and the team coordinates the visit so the trip is worth it.
Our acute tick bite video visits are a separate service for Wisconsin residents 13 and older with a recent tick bite. They are separate from new patient care. Acute tick bite visit details.
Plan your trip in four steps
- Complete the online intake and pay the $200 deposit. The intake takes 45 to 90 minutes. Upload recent labs if you have them. The deposit holds your place in line and is applied to your first visit.
- Kate calls to schedule. Within 1 to 3 business days, our practice manager Kate reaches out to set your appointment, tell you what to bring, and confirm what follow-up options are possible for your state. Appointments go in the order intakes arrive, usually 2 to 3 months out.
- We request your records. Once you are scheduled, we send records requests to your prior providers so you do not have to chase them down yourself. Your provider reviews your intake, your records, and your labs before you arrive.
- Book travel around a 3 to 4 hour visit. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Fly into Appleton, Green Bay, or Milwaukee, and ask the Hilton Garden Inn Oshkosh for the Green Medicine Rate if you are staying over.

Where to stay
For those coming from out of town, we have negotiated a special rate with the Hilton Garden Inn Oshkosh. Call and ask for the "Green Medicine Rate", or use the booking link on our Resources page.
What to bring
- Every current medication and supplement, in their original containers.
- Any recent labs from other providers, printed, if you did not upload them in the intake. We routinely review labs from primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, and direct-to-consumer testing. Reusing existing results saves money and avoids duplicate testing.
- Your primary care provider's name and phone number. Green Medicine is not primary, urgent, or emergency care, so every patient keeps a PCP for routine visits, sudden illness, and emergencies.
- One companion, if you would like support. Our clinic is small, so we ask that you limit companions to one person.
Please skip perfume and strong fragrances. Many of our patients have chemical sensitivities, and we keep the clinic fragrance-free.
Your first visit, hour by hour
Plan 3 to 4 hours at the clinic: about 2 hours one-on-one with your provider, 15 minutes for in-office labs, 40 to 60 minutes with our RN reviewing your individualized plan, plus checkout. Most draws happen in our clinic. Some specialty kits ship to your home, so you do not need to stay in town for those. Supplements are dispensed in-clinic for continuity and quality control, and you can reorder later from the website or by phone, with USPS shipping to permanent or long-term addresses.
After you go home
For Lyme and chronic-illness patients, follow-ups generally run every 8 weeks. Cadences for hormone, longevity, and other tracks vary. Phone and video follow-ups are available where state licensure permits, and Kate confirms what is possible for your state when she schedules you. Because our providers are licensed in Wisconsin, ongoing care after the in-person visit may involve travel back to the clinic.
Between visits, the fastest way to get a question answered is to call the office at (920) 651-3600 and select option "2" for our nursing team, or message them through Patient Fusion. Prescription refills take up to 5 business days to process, so please plan ahead, especially from a distance.
