Amantilla is a single-botanical valerian root tincture designed to support relaxation, calm, and the body's pathway into restful sleep. Valerian root has been studied for its action on GABA signaling, the same nervous system pathway that mediates the body's natural wind-down at the end of the day. The tincture format makes it easy to titrate and easy to swallow for patients who do not love capsules.

What differentiates this formula is its simplicity. Many sleep blends bundle valerian with melatonin, magnesium, or multiple herbs, which can be useful but also makes it harder to read what is doing what. A single-herb tincture lets you and your clinician dial in valerian on its own and then layer if needed.

Steady sleep is one of the basics, and the deeper why behind why someone is not sleeping usually involves circadian rhythm, evening light, screens, and stress hormones that have not finished their day. Amantilla supports the wind-down side of that equation, but the routine around it carries most of the weight. I encourage patients to use the tincture alongside dim evenings and consistent bedtimes.

Discuss dosing and timing with your practitioner, especially if you are using other sleep support. Some patients respond at a very low drop count while others need to titrate up; that variability is normal with valerian and worth tracking week by week.
