Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the body, the scaffolding of skin, tendon, ligament, fascia, and bone. The body builds collagen from amino acid building blocks, but the specific amino acid fragments in hydrolyzed collagen appear to act as signals that guide the body's own collagen synthesis where it is needed. Collagen combines three studied ingredients designed for that signaling work.

What sets this formula apart is the trio. FORTIGEL is a collagen amino acid chain studied for joint and cartilage support, Tendaxion focuses on the connective tissue around tendons and ligaments, and Mobilee delivers hyaluronic acid from chicken comb extract for joint cushioning. Vitamin C is included because it is required for the enzyme that crosslinks new collagen.
