Formula Overview
Each serving (one dropper, 0.7 mL) provides Cryptolepis sanguinolenta root extract (1:5), naturally containing the alkaloid cryptolepine.
A note from Evey
Cryptolepis is a traditional botanical from Ghana with a long history of use in West African herbal practice. The root extract carries cryptolepine, an alkaloid associated with supporting microbial balance and a normal inflammatory response, particularly when the body is dealing with a heavier microbial load than its usual baseline.
What I appreciate about a single-botanical liquid like this one is the precision. A dropper allows the dose to be titrated up or down based on what a patient is working through, which is harder to do with a fixed-dose capsule. The liquid format also reaches the gut more quickly, which is useful in regimens where timing is part of the strategy.
This is one of the targeted-intervention tools rather than a daily wellness supplement. When I think about what supports someone's resilience underneath, I am usually returning to a clean daily plate and quiet daily inputs. Cryptolepis has a more specific job: it sits in a regimen designed to support microbial balance when the body is carrying an unusual load, and it works best when those foundations are already in place.
Because the dosing is intentional and regimen-specific, this is to be taken under the guidance of a practitioner familiar with botanical strategies. Cryptolepis is most often combined with companion herbs and a structured timeline rather than used alone.
