Product Overview

Small-batch organic elderberry syrup, handcrafted in Green Bay, Wisconsin by Ella Kate Co. Ingredients: filtered water, organic wildcrafted elderberries (Sambucus nigra), raw unfiltered local honey, organic rose hips, organic ginger root, organic Ceylon cinnamon, organic star anise and organic cloves. No preservatives, and the honey is added raw, never heated. 16 fl oz, about 32 servings. Sourced from Ella Kate Co., a licensed Wisconsin food manufacturer producing in an inspected commercial kitchen.

A note from Evey

Elderberry syrup is a kitchen tradition I love seeing families keep. Ella Kate Co. started with a Wisconsin mom making syrup for her own daughter, and it shows: organic berries and herbs, raw local honey, and nothing added to stretch the shelf life.

Freshness is the point here. Every batch is made in small runs and dated about four months out, so what reaches our shelf is recent. With no preservatives, it lives in the refrigerator, the same way you would treat any fresh food.

The 16 oz bottle is roughly a month for one person taking a spoonful each day, which makes it a good way to start the habit. If you want to talk through how it fits your plan, ask us at your next visit.

Form: Refrigerated liquid syrup | 16 fl oz

Storage and safety: Keep refrigerated, on a shelf rather than in the door, and shake before each use. Contains raw honey: not for infants under 12 months. For babies 6 to 12 months, see ElderBABY Syrup.
