A note from Evey

This cleanser leans on lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that loosens the bonds between the dead cells sitting on top of skin so they rinse away rather than pile up and dull the complexion. Lactic acid is one of the gentler members of that family because the molecule is larger and works closer to the surface, which makes it friendlier for sensitive skin types.

What sets this formula apart is the supporting cast. Lavender water and aloe leaf juice settle the surface while the acid does its work, and peony root extract adds a brightening note. The blend means you are not trading clearer skin for next-day redness.
