Formula Overview
Lactic acid resurfacing mask built on aloe leaf juice, sodium alginate, hydrolyzed silk, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, hyaluronic acid, cucumber and dragon fruit extracts, and beet root extract.
A note from Evey
This is a resurfacing mask, which means the active work is being done by lactic acid loosening the bonds between dead surface cells so they release rather than build up. The reason a mask format works is dwell time. The acid sits on the skin in a controlled film for ten to twenty minutes, long enough to do meaningful work and short enough to avoid the over-stripping that aggressive scrubs cause.
What sets this formulation apart is the calming counterweight. Aloe leaf juice, sodium hyaluronate, and beet root extract sit alongside the lactic acid so the surface stays hydrated while the resurfacing happens. Hydrolyzed silk and sodium ascorbyl phosphate add a brightening layer for tone.
I think of any exfoliant as part of live clean done thoughtfully. Less is usually more, and a weekly mask often outperforms daily acid use because it gives the barrier time to recover between sessions.
Apply a thin layer to clean dry skin once or twice a week, leave on per package guidance, and rinse with cool water.
