Body skin sees the same UV, friction, and dehydration that face skin sees, just with thicker stratum corneum and less attention. This cleanser borrows face-grade chemistry, lactic acid as a gentle resurfacing active, and applies it to the body in a foaming oil format that does not strip the lipid barrier the way a typical body wash does.

Lactic acid is a humectant before it is an exfoliant. That single property is why this cleanser leaves skin smoother instead of squeaky. Peony root extract, Cyathea medullaris leaf, daisy flower, algae extract, and licorice root sit alongside it to calm and brighten while the acid loosens dead surface cells. Sweet almond and jojoba oils keep the surface hydrated through the wash itself rather than asking lotion afterward to repair the damage.

I think of body care as live clean carried out at scale. The body is the largest organ, and the discipline of treating it with the same quality chemistry you give your face is one of the small commitments that compounds over years.

Massage onto wet skin in the shower, allow a moment to work, then rinse thoroughly. A few times a week is plenty.
