Quinton Isotonic 0.9 is the same cold-microfiltered marine plasma as the Hypertonic version, diluted with spring water to nine grams per liter of total dissolved solids. That dilution brings the formula to the same salinity as human blood plasma, which makes it a gentler entry point for hydration and trace mineral support, especially for sensitive constitutions or anyone new to marine minerals.

What sets the Isotonic apart is its osmotic match with the body. Because the salinity is balanced to plasma, the formula is absorbed without asking the gut or kidneys to do additional regulatory work. The seventy-eight ionic minerals are still there in their original ratios, just at a concentration the body recognizes immediately, which is why I reach for Isotonic when a patient is depleted, recovering, or building back tolerance.
